To encourage cooperation between German and Japanese researchers with interest in data analysis and classification (in a broad sense) the Second German Japanese Symposium on Classification (2nd GJSC) about will take place in Berlin from March 7 – 8, 2006, at
Saargemünder Str. 2/Clayallee 14195 BERLIN Germany (Click here: Part of BERLIN city map ). 27 talks have been scheduled (see the preliminary program schedule). Although we don't expect changes, a last update will be provided shortly before the start of the symposium (March 3, 2006). Please, notice that - to keep the overlap with GfKl 2006 as small as possible - there will be no presentations within 2nd GJSC (2006) during the morning of Wednesday, March 8, 2006. Due to time restrictions imposed by organisational constraints of 2nd GJSC (2006) and GfKl 2006, the schedule is tight and presenters are asked to keep in mind that 25 minutes (including discussion) are allowed per talk. On Tuesday evening (March 7, 2006), a Japanese-German dinner will take place at HARNACK-house. A proceedings volume, that contains refereed contributions of 1st JGSC (2005), Tokyo, and 2nd GJSC (2006), Berlin, is planned. Fee: Euro 70,- (including the Japanese-German dinner without beverages) |
